Getting There

From Taos drive 14.7 miles East on NM 518 and look for a faint pull out on a closed road marked #390 located .9 past Amole Day Use area. follow the old road through the fence, turn left along the fence and look for a faint cairned climbers trail up to the cliff band(10 min). Stay left of large dead tree near the wall visible from road to avoid POISON IVY! Once you are familiar with the area it is possible to approach cliffs from above. This is a nice approach but takes a bit longer, it can also be ridden on a bike. For the top approach park at the Amole Day Use Area and take the first trail on your right marked with blue diamonds.
