There are many seasonal raptor closures with varying dates and specific boundaries. These generally effect The Monument, Kiss of the Lepers, Picnic Lunch Wall and/or Smith Rock group, and possibly elsewhere. These usually run from February to the beginning of August, but each closure is usually shorter than this, and is dependent on the birds' behavior. Description
The biggest tower in the Monument Area. The base has some great moderate sport routes, perfect for a beginner group. Starting in 2015 there has been considerable development of harder sport routes on either side of the base. Leave the ground and the adventure begins, loose rock and old bolts abound, as well as the legendary Tombstone Crack.
