Access Issue: Road closure Oct 1, 2024 Details

PG&E will be closing access to Courtright reservoir early this year. The gate will close Oct 1, 2024 and will remain closed until the spring of 2025

Description

Behind and right of Penstemon Dome. We found several undocumented lines to the right of "Little Lambs Eat Ivy"

Getting There

We bushwhacked up through the berry fields but found a better trail accessing the right side of Dusy on the descent. Follow the trail to Penstemon, then skirt the right slab shoulder of Penstemon(you may find cairns). Go farther right above the creek bed but below the thick brush and timber till you are below the right end of Dusy. The faint trail leads up to the base from there mostly clear of brush. Traverse along the base to various routes.
