Description

The westridge of Salbitschijen. The ridge itself is a popular climb. On the southface of the ridge are some famous climbs as well. Crack/slab climbing on bomber granite, mainly trad.

Bivouacing is easy, and there's a shelter as well (12persons, 10CHF).

Getting There

From the Salbit-hütte SAC, walk to the west and cross the Southridge. Follow the blue-white markings and cross the hanging bridge. From there walk to the base of the ridge.
