Description

Routes ranging from 5.6 to 5.12a and just about everything in between. Popular top roping and rappelling area but lots of sport routes and a few trad climbs. Area is in the rain shadow so weather is usually pretty good. Can get a little busy on a nice weather weekend due to group courses etc. However they usually hang out in the easier top roping section.

Getting There

Located behind the Kootenay Plains Cavalcade group camp area, 62km west of Nordegg along highway 11. Park on the first right turnout past the main entrance to the camp area. Follow the path along the edge of the campground to the base of the cliff, about 5 minutes walk.
