Clocher de Planpraz

International > Europe > France > 04 Northern Alps > Chamonix Mont B… > Aiguilles Rouges > Planpraz

Description

The Clocher de Planpraz stands out like a sharp spike along the Aiguilles Rouges ridge which runs from Brevent to Charlanon. Two classic routes ascend its summit from the SE face, the Cocher-cochon (5.10a) and the Label Virginie (5.9).

Getting There

From Chamonix take the telepherique to Planpraz. At Planpraz follow the Lac Cornu trail. Go along this horizontally until the slabby rocks at the base of the South face of Clocher de Pranpraz are directly to your left. Follow a grassy trail to reach them.
