Description
A great place to stop if you are driving on CA1. There are two prominent boulders on the beach that have fun warm up problems and a few moderate ones.
It is beach bouldering so bring a towel and a brush. That being said also look at the tides because the boulders get pounded by the shore break on a high tide. Low tide and a sunny day will allow the rocks to dry a little and make climbing easier.
This area is a popular rest area for people driving so parking can be a problem at times. I wouldn't worry about crowds though because people typically stay by the first beach.
It is more than likely that these boulders have been climbed before so if you have information on them, let me know. I am more than happy to change the names. The problems are really dependent on the conditions which is why there is uncertainty of the grades.
Did not really put time on the slab portion , but there's definitely problems there.
