Description

A very nice crag with rock which offers climbing more similar to that found near Capo Nori than in other regions. The rock also has a nice texture and is the only crag I'm aware of in the vicinity of Finalborgo, so you can go climbing and then come back and get some pasta and ice cream.
The crag unfortunately only has 9 routes and range in difficulty from 5b to 6b+.

Getting There

Park in Finalborgo. This can be a tough task, especially since the paid parking that is suggested seems to be limited to how long you can stay, and the rest of the parking spaces are perpetually full. After finding a spot, walk into the old city and locate the spaghetterie "Sotto il Santo". You'll want to come back here anyway, so this is a good landmark. Facing the restaurant, walk to your left which will lead you to a plaza "Piazza del Tribunale". On the left side of this plaza is a street (Via Berretta) leading uphill. It is the hiking trail marked with two red dots. Follow this 280m to reach an old city archway and after 90m you will reach a right turn to the castle with a half hidden trail on the left in the curve. Follow this down and follow the little wooden signs on the trees to the crag.
From the restaurant, your walking time is about 10 minutes.
