Description

A fun secluded area high up Icicle Creek. Not too many problems up there, but they are pretty interesting. Nice views and some textured rock.

Getting There

About 9.4 miles up Icicle Creek look for a faint pullout on the right. After scrambling over some rocks (I think one had a peace symbol spray painted on it?) Follow the trail up the hillside for about 5 minutes

[Hide Comment] Just a heads up, I don't think the turnout mentioned here and by the guidebook exists anymore. Checked it out today and couldn't find it. I would use the turnout for the fuzz boulders (9.2 mile mark), or another turnout thats maybe ~9.5 or 9.6 miles. If you reach the trailhead (on the right) you've gone too far. The trail starts at the wash as mentioned above. Scramble over the boulders to reach a well worn trail. Oct 24, 2019

[Hide Comment] Just a heads up, but there's actually two trails that lead here. The first one is steeper, shorter, and more prone to getting wet. The second is longer I think but less prone to getting wet. The second one is the one with all the small rocks that is closer to the trail head up the road. Not sure which one is the "wash."
