Description
Getting There
Hike south out of the parking area in the sandy wash past the Stirrup. Hike S/SE past the climb The Moaning Man (Dissatisfaction Rock Area) until you are at the eastern edge of the climbable formations.
Keeping the domes and boulders on your right, continue south, then swing around to the west as it opens up (continue to keep the boulders and domes on your right) for about ten minutes.
Then head towards a pyramid formation (still ahead / W of you), and a large cool orange/rust-colored boulder. Stay a bit right (uphill) of this boulder, and continue towards the pyramid formation -- you'll drop into a narrow corridor. This is Graham's Playpen Area. Allow about 20 min. for the approach.
- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: download the photos on this page while you have signal, and use the GPS coordinates for backup reference. Might save you a lot of wandering around. It's not obvious where this area is until you're in it.
