Description

A large parcel of public land which includes the apple orchard and miles of trails behind it. There are numerous, scattered boulders, mostly of poor quality. There is a small cliff approximately 20 minutes hike from the main parking lot with decent route potential. Locals have described other rocks including a house-sized boulder that I have not been able to find. There are over 30 miles of trails here. At least one route has been established here according to rockclimbing.com.

Getting There

From the main parking lot on Pleasant St. in Leominster, take the trail through the center of the apple orchard, then proceed through the field to the right on well-marked trails. Once you gain the wide trail/access road which splits the two reservoirs (excellent fishing here!!!), follow it to an intersection with another large trail system at the end of the reservoir. Take a left onto the rocky trail, and walk until you see a yellow blaze. This trail will take you to both the small cliff and the Devil's Pulpit... a strange rock formation on another outcrop.
