Description

Rocky Knob is a 185 acre adventure park created by a partnership between the Watauga Tourism Development Authority, the Boone Area Cyclists, and Watauga County Parks and Recreation. Though primarily used for mountain biking, boulders can be found. Vegetation is dense, so routes dry relatively slowly. Be careful on trails!

Getting There

Take 421 headed East from Boone towards Jefferson. Shortly after passing Bamboo Rd and several car dealerships take a right at the park's entrance. Look for a large wooden arch off the highway.
