Description Suggest change

There are an abundance of hikes and climbs spattered across Mount Garfield's barren, otherworldy landscape. Most of the rock is terrible, but there are definite exceptions. It just takes some looking, and often times, some serious hiking to get at.

Getting There Suggest change

Exit I-70 at the town of Palisade onto 37 3/10 Road. About one hundred yards south of I-70 you will cross over an irrigation ditch. Make a right on G 7/10 Rd. Go about a mile west on G 7/10 Rd until you are forced to make a right. Head north to a tunnel that leads under I-70 to the trailhead parking area.
