Cliff right by Sauherad church (to the south). There are several areas/routes that have been established recently, and local climbers are working hard to create even more, and better routes. There are currently a hand full of hard trad-routes and steep aid routes. Some of the climbs can be top-roped and there is a lot of potential! High quality rock with sun all day. Protected from the wind and currently uncrowded. There is a path that goes along the base of the cliff that leads to the summit. Locals have stopped by in wonder of the crazy dirt-bags crawling up the cliffs.

Getting There

You can take a bus to Sauherad kirke or Høgstad, although a car is highly advised as there are very few buses that drive past here. You can either park at Høgstad Verkstad or, preferably, park near the church. There is a path to the top of Borgaråsnatten that goes along the base of the wall, past most of the climbs. Make sure that you are nice to everybody you meet along the way, we want to continue using this area. If approaching from Høgstad, park near the workshop and walk up the road towards the cliff. You will walk past some houses and come to a private garage at the end of the road. There is an old tractor road that is used by the locals as a hiking trail that leads to the top of Borgaråsnatten. Make sure you turn left (south) just past the garage. The trail is marked with blue paint on trees and boulders along the way. Head north towards the cliff when you are about level with it. There is a faint climbers path that may be hard to find.
