Description

Arguably the actual "main" Castle View crag in the area, this is the crag easily visible from the road while driving in up on the hill. The rock is really phenomenal quality here, unfortunately the current state of the fixed hardware (as of 1/18/23) is not. Many routes are missing hardware to keep them safe (unknown if this is due to chopping or the FA party not finishing). However, all routes seem to have TR anchors that seem like they're in at least decent shape, though the lowering hardware on them leaves a bit to be desired. Climb at your own risk - or better yet, help contribute to the improvement of the overall state of these climbs.
