The Gorge

New Hampshire > NH Ice & Mixed > - Franconia Notch > Flume (Franconia Notch)

Description

Sheltered vertical ice climbing with a number of mixed climbing options. It is possible to lead many of the lines, but most set top-rope anchors on the trees at the top of the gorge. Access to the top of the gorge is via a natural ramp on ones right side that parallels the last section of the walkway that is left up in the winter as one enters the gorge.
