Routes in The Broadway Boulder

Center V3 6A
Left Side V3- 6A
North Slabs V0 4

Description

This is a nice boulder hidden in the trees. The North face has a few tall, featured, Flatiron-like, slab variations that are fun to warm up on. The East face has a few problems around V3 with a right to left traverse that is around V7. It's nice to have a spot for the East face routes, as the low starts have back breaking boulders behind you. The rock is still a little dirty and lichen covered, but that's a small price to pay for the solitude you will likely enjoy.

Getting There

Drive into the North entrance to Red Rocks. Make a left and park in a big dirt pull-off. This is the best approach for all of the boulders. Cross the street and head North on the Red Rocks Trail. Go left at the fork and up switch backs (the right fork leads to the Millennium Boulder). Continue across the level top of a plateau. When the trail hangs a left and starts downhill again, look up left and you will spot the Broadway Boulder. It's the first thing on the left you will see that is worth climbing....

It took us almost 45 minutes to walk here. We walked slowly but still passed bikes somehow??
