Description
A vedauwoo-esque area with a mix of crack and face boulders. Expect slopers, cracks, and tiny rounded crimps here. There are a couple of mixed lines established as well with more to do for those interested.
Getting There
The driving approach is the same as for the greater Castle View Crags and Boulders area. To go to the Backburn area, leave Miller Gulch Trailhead parking, and head to EOS Mill Road. Turn right (north) on EOS Mill, and walk down for about 10 minutes. These boulders are the Vedauwoo-like formation on your left.
There may be closer parking pullouts from there, but please be mindful of where it is legal to park as well as the homeowner who lives just on the other side of the road from these boulders.
