Description
The Lost World of Tambun has recently seen a lot of new development... not all of it good. What was once a quiet hidden area with amazing rock formations jutting out of a cool green meadow is now developed as a ropes course catering to teens and team building groups. Wires and rigging crisscross the meadow and via ferrata rungs lead up through what were once great moderate climbs.
Don't get me wrong, this area is still the best climbing for miles around and it is pretty fun stuff once you get oriented to the challenges.
I've never run into more than 2 or 3 other climbers there at any one time.
No lines, steep clean limestone, and cool features to climb on.
There is always shade somewhere in the area.
