Description
Bald Rock's Backside refers to the Western side of Bald Rock which extends northwards towards the Basin areas. This area hosts many great slabs which come sloping down off the ridge and peak of Bald Rock to a very nice flat floor. The majority of climbs in this area are easy slab though some erratics and harder problems are sprinkled in the mix.
Getting There
Hike in from the parking lot along the dirt road. Just before the peak of Bald Rock hop over the ridge using a faint trail heading up hill towards and past the Slugs and Crickets Block. From the S&C Block head west over the ridge and down the hill to the Beluga Block. Looking north you will see the slabs and boulders.
