Description Suggest change

This crag is pretty well known as a good place for beginners and pleasure climbers to go. The left side has more easy routes, many of which follow crack systems, while the right side is a bit more difficult. The routes here are typically only about 15m tall and many only have 2 bolts (so bring some stoppers), but for the most part the routes are well protected.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the little parking lot in Haselstauden, cross the street and head to the left (in the direction of Egloffstein) and up the hill. You'll see a sign for climbers (Kletterer) with a request to park only in the parking area and to follow paths. There's also a map showing you the trail to the crag. Walk up this road a short distance until you can hang a right (there's another sign here indicating the crags - "zu den Felsen"). Follow the path up to the crag. 5 mins
