Description

The Belleview area encompasses a collection of slabs along the southern flank of Crane Mountain, west of the South Corner Cliffs. This section is rife with low-angle rock, ranging from moss-covered shorties to 560' long, undulating strips.
While nothing here will lure the hardguy/gal, it's an ample playground for beginners and casual outings. Difficulty ranges from 5.3 to 5.10b/c, but most of the routes are less than 5.8.
To date, development has concentrated on two of the rightmost slabs, the Bella Vista slab and the Belleview Slab. At least one climb has been done on both the slab west and east of these.

Getting There

Take the East (a.k.a. BAW) Path past all the Measles Walls. Look for a herd path diverging left; take it. Five minutes of moderate hiking leads to the Belleview Slab; the Bella Vista Slab lies above and left of this.
