Luterseeplatten

International > Europe > Switzerland > Oberalp Pass

Description

A small, sunny crag with a good itinerary of single-pitch routes for a full day of climbing.

It is totally secluded and in a ridiculously beautiful setting. The stone is bomber granite, with superb friction and some very cool chickenheads. All routes are fully bolted. Routes are unnamed.

A topo can be found in the filidor Plaisir-Ost and the SAC Graubünden guidebooks, or here online:

Getting There

Head for the obvious crag just behind (to the north of) the Lutersee lake.
