DescriptionGood quality rock that doesn't see alot of climbers. The climbing area is so large that you might not see anyone at all. Great views of the canyon below, and usually a good breeze blowing through the area.
Mt. Nebo Wilderness on south side of Santaquin Canyon. Details
The Mount Nebo Wilderness boundary parallels approximately 100-200 yards south of the Santaquin Canyon road from the mouth of the canyon to Tinney Flat Campground. Wilderness rules blm.gov/wo/st/en/info/regul… apply within the wilderness area (nothing mechanized or motorized allowed, including power drills).
Getting There6.2 miles past the last stop sign in town, and the second switch back on the dirt road section of Santaquin Canyon just past Tinneys Flat. Look for a faint trail leading off toward the east up hill toward the wall. There are numerous switchbacks along the steep winding trail, and a couple areas where the trail is so close to the cliff face that there are ropes fixed to the wall to help navigate the path. There are wild roses growing in the area so it's advisable to wear long pants when on the trail. When you get to the chalk stone you'll be near the end of the wall. There are more climbs down below, and several are easier climbs.
