Yosemite National Park climbing closures and conditions
Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15.
Always check the Yosemite website Peregrine Closure page at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. This page also shares closures and warning due to current fires, smoke, etc.
There are around 50 problems, some short some tall, some easy and a couple definitely not easy. All the problems are on perfect rock.
Many of the landings are flat, however a few are less than ideal, so pack the pads and come with friends.
From the parking lot head to the bear lockers, and then onto a well defined trail. A trail heads off left and right (PCT), ignore that and head straight on a smaller but still good trail. Walk along this for about 5 minutes. You will come to the river and shortly thereafter the boulders will be visible on the left.
