Getting weather forecast...
DescriptionBuena Vista offers a selection of sport climbs ranging from 5.10 to 5.14. The wall is east facing and gets sun in the morning to mid-day. This area is climbable all winter, though some days are too cold and windy.
The rock is relatively good limestone.
The area was developed by Flyn' Brian McCray and Mike Lewis in 2000 - 2001.
To the right of the cave, there are a few 5.10s and 5.11s. The cave offers a very good 5.14a, as well as a project. Left of the cave has a slew of 5.12s.
Getting There15 to 20 minutes uphill. From the parking lot, look up to your right (northwest). You will see a seemingly small cliff with a small cave-like wave. There was a small trail at one time with cairns, but they may be gone now. Hike into the wash from the parking lot and quickly take a right fork and follow cairns, if still there. If not, just walk to the cliff.
