Sweet spot to check out! With lots of snow it is probably the first formation to melt out in the area. Lots of cragging and TR options. keep your eyes peeled for any webbing, pitons or bolts. Found a 5.6 right facing corner that led up to a piton anchor. If you continue up the dirty trough/ chimney from this anchor you will find a three point anchor which can be nice to check out some of the harder cracks to the left of the right facing corner. These cracks all seems to be around 5.10 in grade, there is a prominent zig-zag crack that can be seen on the approach if you look closely, highly recommended for a lead/ top rope. could take some bigger gear 4/5 camalot maybe? Wish I had more time to explore the formation! Jun 1, 2016
