Description

The Tour de Mayen is the largest peak in the Leysin region. It is a large limestone plateau-esque peak. Most of the rock climbs are found on the Diamant face, a large south-facing limestone cliff. There is also a hiking path which leads to the top of the peak.

Getting There

From Leysin, there are two multiple ways to reach the Tour de Mayen.

Hiking Path: follow the well marked signs to the Tour de Mayen

Cable Car: Go the La Berneuse lift and take it to the top. Hike down the path toward the lake (Lac de Mayen).

To reach the Diamant face, go to the Lac de Mayen, from there find a faint trace up toward the cliff.
