DescriptionThis prominent tooth-like mountain (hence it's name) overlooks lake Geneva. During the summer it is accessible by driving to the Col de Jaman.
The area is popular for hikers, climbers, and paragliders. There is even a Via Ferrata located at the nearby Rochers de Naye.
The two main hiking routes are from the SE and North faces. The North face route is fairly steep and quite perilous in winter though many of the steeper sections are equipped with fixed ropes. The SE face is much more gradual but requires the hiker to traverse around the entire mountain.
On the south and west faces are a number of multi-pitch bolted routes. It should be noted, however, that a walk off from these can be difficult as there is some unbolted scrambling still required to reach the summit (and the path down).
