Description

The whitecroft boulder is surrounded by trees and a river. It stays quite cool and shady there. You will see the occasional people walking up to view the waterfall. The rock is volcanic and very solid.

Getting There

Travel towards sunpeaks from kamloops. At the heffley creek store reset your odometer and travel aprox 24km. You will then enter the small town of whitecroft, you will go over two cattle gaurds. After the second slow down and park on the right hand side of the road as far off as you can get. You will see a locked gate part way thru the corner. Fallow the road on foot up river for aprox 10minutes until you reach the boulder. Be careful, bears have been sighted in the area in the past.
