Are we talking about the same crack? Better photo of it here: climbri.org/mttom.htm The one with the blue dots. Jan 19, 2017
There's no way that roof crack is 5.11. I tried it a few different ways and nothing about it felt v2 or v3.. Jan 19, 2017
I love the name "the drip" I hope the roof crack has a killer name too. I can't wait to get out there now. So pumped ! Feb 9, 2016

I asked Whitey about this climb. He said the roof was done 2 ways, one direct at 5.11 by Mack Johnson contrived because of off routing holds to the left and he believes that the line of least resistance was lead by Team Tough (5.10).
He also gave me the names of a couple of the lines that were previously done. Feb 8, 2016
Theres no doubt in my mind that Whitey sent this line , its a ridiculously cool looking line. I'm confident I can get it after a weekend or so. unfortunately my climbing addiction won't let me stop thinking about it until I send it. I'm sure you two can relate lol. Feb 7, 2016

I could have sworn Whitey TRed it when we did a session there. I was pretty new to climbing and vaguely remember struggling on it and not being able to finish. I think (very vague) Whitey was doing some kind of big stem that I couldn't get close to doing, if that makes sense. Take that memory with a grain of salt. Feb 7, 2016

As far as I know it has never been done but some of the guys who climbed here way back (Whitey and Neil) may know more about it. It looks hard. You can see the crack in the topo photo here. climbri.org/mttom.htm Feb 6, 2016
I'm wondering if anyone has any beta for the ceiling crack inside the high cave ? It looks pretty hairy ! Feb 5, 2016
