Rafe's Chasm

Massachusetts > N Shore > Cape Ann

Description

This is a good spot to head to on really hot days. A good sea breeze and full sun all day can be found here. There are several good boulders and a long, deep, wide split in the rock which can be top roped.

Getting There

Heading east on 127 from Manchester, take a right towards Magnolia on Raymond St. Follow straight through the center of town. A little ways down the road is a parking area for about 6 cars just after a red wooden fence. Follow a trail through the woods to a nice overlook. To the south are a couple small walls and nice boulders. Rafe's Chasm can be seen from the overlook.

[Hide Comment] Are the boulders across the road already logged somewhere? If not, they should go in here. I took some photos today. Just a need a place to put them. Aug 16, 2014
