Description

This small wall currently has three routes, two sport and one trad. The rock is your typical Burro Canyon Sandstone and is slightly taller than most other routes on 9 Mile Hill. There are two dark colored petrified logs exposed in the cliff here.

L->R:

A. The Normal Life, 8+, 1p, 55', bolts.
B. My Weekend World, 7, 1p, 50', bolts.
C. Coiled and Ready, 7+, 1p, 45', gear.

Getting There

From Whitewater, turn onto CO 141 heading toward Gateway and drive approximately 6 miles up the canyon (about 1 mile up from the Bone Park). Park in a large pullout just past a guard rail. From here, the wall is easily seen on the east side of the road.

Per Michael Schneiter: from the south (from Gateway or the Unaweep granite), it is 3.5 miles from the Cactus Park turnoff to the parking lot for the Petrified Wall.
