Description Suggest change

Lunch rock is often overlooked as a place to climb, which is odd since almost everyone visiting Taquitz walks passed it on the way to the crag.

The rock is easily seen from the parking area, and the tail to the west face goes right to it.

Its west face has 3 routes. Despite being short in length they are all worth doing with good moves on fine rock.

Getting There Suggest change

The trailhead is just below the start of the Devil's Slide hiking trail. Hike down a short hill to the creek and then follow the trail as it wraps around a hillside. After approx. .3 miles take a left trail climb that climbs the steep hillside above to Lunch Rock.
