Description Suggest change

The more neglected side of Elephant Rock, the north side climbing is still a blast. A bit steeper than its neighbor, this section of the formation has a good number of intermediate lines being traditional, sport, and mixed. Climbing on this side is primarily face, with horizontal and vertical cracks features throughout.

Most routes here have fixed anchors, and a 60 meter rope will suffice. If needed, or applicable, descend by walk-off and 3rd class scramble on the back, northwest corner of the formation.

Getting There Suggest change

Take Emery Canyon Road north until you reach the unmistakable Elephant Rock parking lot. Be careful not to block the gate when parking.
