Description

This area has artificial bouldering walls.

It rates a big ol' Meh.

It may be a way to kill some time waiting for a court hearing.

Getting There

This is just west of the Centennial Civic Center, Arapahoe Road, and Revere Parkway.

All things considered, this is actually a pretty cool park. The map area was just swarmed by kids, where I only saw a handful play on the Building Leg one, and I saw basically zero kids on the Red Mineral Wall. The rock textures were relatively good for artificial rock. Plus, you don't need a crashpad, because it has the soft rubber landings which is convenient. Jun 8, 2016
First off, everything Bap said is dead on. The park is unreal!!! Especially if you have kids and it's FREE. This place is anything but uninspired, uninteresting, and pointless. Either Delta Bravo doesn't want anyone to come to this area or he didn't take any time to actually check out the park and the climbing walls. They're just as good if not better than going to a gym to do some bouldering. Definitely some good problems. I'll gather pictures and post some beta...hopefully by tomorrow. It's worth checking out for sure. Jul 25, 2012
For in the city climbing, I think that the City of Centennial went over the top on this park, including the climbing walls. How many other cities have a park even similar to this, much less even think about taking on the liability of climbing walls? There are a total of three walls, one which is an actual representation of a topographical map of Colorado, the other climbs the side of a structure that actually appears to be supporting the second level and the third that acts as a retaining wall! I give the creator/designer of these walls a big round of applause!!! One must remember that the park is mostly for kids to use, but if you are creative enough, you can come up with some great problems, not to mention a decent traverse on the western most wall. Hats off to the City of Centennial.

If you are a parent, this is a must as people are considering it a "destination park" because of all the other features the park contains. Great to see kids having the opportunity to climb!!! Jun 9, 2012

Just sucks to spend the dough and come up with such uninspired, uninteresting and pointless features. Really, don't bother. Apr 23, 2012
