Description Suggest change

This limestone wall (about 45' tall) appears to be an old quarry. The rock is surprisingly solid and extremely grippy, though a big ledge partway up on the right side cuts into the fun.

There are two old hangerless bolts on top that someone at some point used for toproping. There are, however, two bomber horns on top that can easily be slung for toproping.

Once you set up a toprope, there are 5 or 6 different routes/variations you can play around on. They're all moderate, ranging from 5.5ish to 5.8+ish (over the roof).

You can easily hike up either side to access the top of the cliff. This would be a good cliff for boy scouts or kids, or if you want to practice some toprope soloing.

Getting There Suggest change

Hike up the Bonneville Shoreline Trail (see the Mt. Van Cott page for directions) for 5 minutes. It's 50 feet from the trail and impossible to miss.
