Description

The quarry is located 4 miles east of Del Norte and is home to some of the best bouldering in the San Luis Valley! This is not a winter destination but a great area in the summer. For full color topo images of problems, go to 27crags.com/crags/the-quarr….

Getting There

Drive 4 miles east from Del Norte and turn right at the sign for the Stone Quarry. Continue past the shooting range and through some 4X4 rocky sections. Continue on this road around the butte and take an immediate right after crossing through the fence. Take this road straight north back toward the highway. It meanders along the perimeter of The Quarry bouldering areas and provides the best access to the climbing.
