Description

The Slide Zone is a transitional area above the sloping rubble pile that leads to ground level making this not the best choice for those with children, pets or poor balance.

Although this area has the widest range in ratings of any area at The Quarry, from 5.7 to 5.14, it's more appealing to the 5.12 and up climber as the easier routes tend to be lower quality or merely approach pitches.

Popular routes here include Supercruiser (5.12c), All That Remains (5.12d), Beautifful Disaster (5.12d) and Alpha Male (5.13a).
