Description

This small and all but forgotten area lies in a narrow canyon above Dale's Camp. Included only vaguely in the original topo guides to Bishop, this area has been left out of the new guidebook completely. Still, there are a few gems here for the curious.

Getting There

Drive out past Dale's Camp. Continue on the dirt road past a spur road that takes you uphill to the south (and goes past another obscure bouldering area known as the Glass House.) The main road continues up a canyon, heading vaguely toward the Bardini Boulders which lie on the other side of the ridge. Look for an obvious side canyon to your right (north.) Park here and hike up into the canyon. The canyon is quite narrow at first but soon opens up into a small valley strewn with boulders.
