Description

Nice steep boulder near the Deception parking lot. There are a couple of other boulders right nearby that might offer a few short problems after some cleaning.

Getting There

Park at the DEM lot at the end of Long Pond. Drop down the steep embankment on the left side of the lot and schwack across the shallow rhododendron filled valley a couple hundred yards. Alternatively, you can hook around to it by taking the left branch of the yellow dot trail a few minutes and when you see a climbing sized boulder on the left, maybe 30 feet off the trail and up a little hill, hike up and in back of that boulder, just over the crest of the hill and you will see the slabby back of the PL boulder.
