Description
This boulder has a few fun problems on it, it would be great if you want a mellow day on something new. It would also be a great backup if you planned to do the Panther Peak Boulders but show up too late for them or the weather looks questionable.
Getting There
90% of the approach is on well established trails. Park as if you're going to the Panther Peak Boulders and head north on the trail, you will pass two palo verdes on your right as you go, both have small saguaros growing under them. Right after the second one cut right and head towards the slope of scree on Panther Peak. After a couple hundred feet you should come up to a small cairn on the bank of the wash, drop into the wash and head directly for the other side. There you should pick up a trail with a rusted metal post in the middle of it, take that trail towards the saddle. You will reach a small uphill "S" section of the trail (can be seen from where you parked) followed by a couple small washes, after the second go left, you can see the boulder from the trail.
