Description
Along the Bear Trap road this crag has a short approach and some really fun routes! It can be rather windy so bring your wind gear. It has been done in mid-January with the right weather. A very pretty setting right along Madison River makes this just a nice place to be.
Getting There
From Bozeman head west on Highway 84 (towards 4 Corners) until you reach the turn off for Bear Trap (20.6 miles from intersection of 84 and 191). Take a left just before the bridge to get onto the access road for Bear Trap. Head 1.2 miles down this dirt road until you reach a small pull through turnout on the left side of the road. The climbs are up above this. At this time there is a white rope hanging that allows you to ascend the 20ish foot cliff up to the start of the climb.
