Effectively CLOSED to any and all access. Posted "No Trespassing" and "Private Property" everywhere, literally spray painted on rocks. Only access is bushwhacking past signs that warn of $10,000 fines for trespassing and 'endangering wildlife habitat,' June 21, 2020.
Description
This sun lit outcropping can be seen from the I-15 when driving through Rancho Bernardo. From the trailhead on Pablado it takes about 20 minute stroll to get to the base. At about the 6th interpretive sign (posted on rocks pertaining to wood rats and squirrels) take left on faint trail, traversing over to the pole line road. Go right on the road/trail until an inobvious trail(s) on the left can lead up steep terrain to the rocks.
Several toprope problems and a few bolted leads were established a couple decades ago. I don't remember any of the names or FA info, so if somebody has any info let me know!

Getting There
Exit off of I-15 at Pomerado Road and at the light take a left (north or southbound makes no difference). Take this road, West Bernardo Drive for about 2-3 miles until reaching the intersection of Duenda Road where one will take a right turn. Continue straight through several stop signs through the neighborhood until the road turns into Pablado. The trailhead for the open space is on Pablado just before Moon Song Road. Roadside parking
