Description

This area is super small but fun and concentrated and has NO hike in. There is a little bit for everyone... provided everyone is climbing 5.6-5.9.

Getting There

From Route 128 take exit 13 (Concord St) toward Wingersheek Beach. Stay on Concord St. past the farm stand and take the next left onto Bray St. The mini-crag is less than 100 yards up the road on the left hand side. Pull the car over as much as you can, turn on your radio (not too loud), and belay from your seat!

The Essex County Greenbelt just added a fantastic parking area just to the left of this little cliff, which provides great access to the Thompson St. Woods. If you are up for exploring a bit, there are loads of good boulders and slabs hidden in the woods back there, though bug spray, a scrub brush, and a sense of adventure are recommended! May 10, 2012
