Parking is very limited. Carpooling is highly recommended as to not overwhelm the small road with cars parked everywhere.

Description

Ice Pond is an area found by John K located just off Route 84 in Brewster Hill, NY. Home to some quality boulders on bomber Putnam County gneiss.

There is a drawing of an old topo that may be helpful here. There is also an excellent guidebook containing far more problems, available for purchase here.

Parking is limited and access is sensitive. The locals are not too thrilled about their road being overrun with poorly parked cars, so please be cognizant, only park fully on the shoulder, carpool if possible, and if there truly isn't space to park well, consider going somewhere else for the day - your project will still be there tomorrow.

Getting There

Located in Ice Pond Park, off Ice Pond Rd.

Continue down the trail, there is a turn off trail to the left that goes to some boulders after 2 hills. You can also continue straight down the main trail, bear left and find your favorite boulder to try!
