Description
Small crag near Chatfield with some quality routes in the 5.9 range. Nice and sheltered for winter climbing, shady enough in the summer to climb as well. Mostly southeast/southwest facing.
This is a great crag to hit in the winter, its very footwork intensive climbing where you can place some gear, clip some bolts and keep your head in the game for leading.
cams from a 0/purple metolius to a #3 camalot are useful.

Getting There
From the entrance to Chatfield Hollow State Park, go 0.3 miles west on Rt. 80. Park in the rough climbers pull-out on the left (south side). Walk south from the climber parking lot down the old dirt road/trail without turning on to any trails for about 15 minutes. Eventually the road turns back into the blue trail(still go strait) and you will be on top of the cliff.
Step by Step:
1. From climbers lot continue south down dirt road
2. Merge right onto blue trail
3. Go straight. do not take blue trail with red dot
4. At fork bear left to stay on blue trail
Continue on blue trail to access the bottom of the crag.

The bolts on wall (Rusty Oldtimer, Just Say Yes) have been smashed with a hammer, and will be very difficult, if not impossible to clip. The anchor bolts are usable via the screw links.
The bolts on the slab (One step forward, Pipe Dreams) are intact, but the anchor bolts have been smashed. I couldn't get a carabiner behind them when attempting to use them as a top-rope anchor. Aug 6, 2014
