Description

Just south of Devil's Gap is Orient Point, containing a good number of early season routes including The Joker which is often a season opener. Access early in the season is easy, as snow accumulates it becomes harder.

Getting There

Cross the river at the bottom of the Big Hill and head left. Stay left of a large mound and continue directly south until an obvious cutline/road is visible going directly West steeply up the hill. Park here and head up the road until it terminates, then head through the trees trending southwest and staying high before eventually dropping into the gully bottom.

Follow the gully to the base of Hidden Dragon or climb a short WI3 pitch on the left to get yourself out of the gully and onto scree/snow slopes which you can traverse to access the climbs higher up in Orient Point.
