Description
Arrowhead is an interesting boulder. One that you walk upon and wonder just what kind of geological event occurred to push or turn a block up in this fashion. Either way, this pointy tipped boulder is really fun to climb on, and you will enjoy yourself here. Crimps, knobs, standard grayson with a little less steepness.
Getting There
Continue a few yards past the Autumn Boulder and the Jet Boulder, past the massive fallen hollow tree, and look deep into the forest to your left. You will see a small unassuming boulder face (that you may otherwise second guess or walk past). This is the Tuna Boulder.
Once at the Tuna Boulder, walk to the right (parallel to the trail) and you will see the Yates Boulder.
Yet again, walk left and slightly back (away, but still parallel with the trail) and you will see the small (slightly larger than the last) Electricity Boulder.
Behind the Electricity Boulder is the Wonder Boulder.
Walk behind the Wonderboulder and the mountainside will look more jumbled and steeper. Walk back to the right and around a smaller boulder and you will see the large Arrowhead Blade/boulder. This problem stand starts to the far right of the boulder and tops out to the right on a massive quartzite striped ledge.
