Description

A south-facing crag shaded by trees in some areas. Good quality gritstone, with several quarried areas. Popular as an evening venue as Sheffield is only a few miles away. The free-standing Needle is the most obvious feature.

Getting There

Park near the Rivelin Dam. Walk back across the dam, cross the A57 and head up though the trees. The most obvious path emerges near Rivelin Needle but there are several possible trails.
